Hi, I am Bill Finch, Mayor of the City of Bridgeport.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome the 2010 Americana Cup to our beautiful city of Bridgeport, Connecticut, also known by our nickname, Park City.
In Bridgeport, a city that puts emphasis on its sports and parks, the Americana Cup certainly fits right in. Youth from around the world will join us on our fields and enjoy a weeklong tournament where friendship and sportsmanship take center stage under under the banner of soccer.
Hosting the 2010 Americana Cup follows in our tradition of being an open, green-oriented city where people from all over gather to enjoy the beauty of nature, either in one of our spectacular parks or sports facilities.
We hope you take advantage of all the great things Bridgeport has to offer, and we wish you a fantastic time in Park City.

Hola, soy Bill Finch, Alcalde de la ciudad de Bridgeport. Me da un enorme placer darles la bienvenida a la Copa Americana (Americana Cup) a nuestra hermosa ciudad de Bridgeport, Connecticut, tambien conocida por el apodo de Ciudad de los Parques.
En Bridgeport, ciudad que pone enfasis en los deportes y sus parques, la Copa Americana ciertamente cabe perfectamente. La juventud del mundo se unira a nosotros en nuestros campos y disfrutara de un torneo durante toda una semana donde la amistad y el espiritu deportivo tendran un lugar central en este escenario bajo la bandera del futbol.
